Abstract:

Background: The aim of this study was to determine the types of memory problems in people with obsessive-compulsive disorder (checking, washing and mixing) in terms of Recognition memory and recall. Methods: 45 patients with obsessive-compulsive (15 checking and 15 washing and 15 combined) and 30 formed the control group (n = 15 as generalized anxiety disorder, and 15 normal subjects) were selected. Control groups in terms of demographic variables with groups checking, washing and mixing are matched. In terms of thoughts and actions obsessive-compulsive using the scale Obsessive-Compulsive Inventory (MOCI), Yale-Brown and psychiatric interview were evaluated. In this study, subjects' memory two word lists (recalling list and browse using sign Recognition) that utilizes computers were provided was examined. Results: Patients with obsessive-compulsive in terms of Recognition memory and reminder using symptoms compared with normal control group, a significant difference. Conclusion: memory problems in patients with obsessive-compulsive psychological theories, particularly in the context of cognitive-behavioral therapy seems to be explained and patients generally suffer from memory impairment.

Abstract:

There are two approaches for simulating memory as well as learning in artificial intelligence; the functionalistic approach and the cognitive approach. The necessary condition to put the second approach into account is to provide a model of brain activity that contains a quite good congruence with observational facts such as mistakes and forgotten experiences. Given that human memory has a solid core that includes the components of our identity, our family and our hometown, the major and determinative events of our lives, and the countless repeated and accepted facts of our culture, the more we go to the peripheral spots the data becomes flimsier and more easily exposed to oblivion. It was essential to propose a model in which the topographical differences are quite distinguishable. In our proposed model, we have translated this topographical situation into quantities, which are attributed to the nodes. The result is an edge-weighted graph with mass-based values on the nodes which demonstrates the importance of each atomic proposition, as a truth, for an intelligent being. Furthermore, it dynamically develops and modifies, and in successive phases, it changes the mass of the nodes and weight of the edges depending on gathered inputs from the environment.

Introduction: The relationship of body-mind is the one of issue about integration of human being and it seem the neuro-psychological aspects are not separate from each other's.: The aim of the present study was to compare the explicit memory (Recognition memory and recall memory) of bulimic women and normal women.Method: The study was a descriptive with ex-post facto method study. Two sample groups, 20 bulimic women, from therapeutic clinics, whose were seeking therapy for bulimia, and 20 normal women, were selected with targeted selection method. Bulimia Questionnaire (with adequate reliability and validity) and Explicit memory (recall and Recognition) Inventory were administered on the individual of each group. The data were analyzed with multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) method by using SPSS software. Results: The results of study revealed that there was a significant difference in Recognition memory (F=6.74, Sig=0.013) between two groups and therefore the bulimic group performed lower than the normal group. But there was no differences in recall memory (F=13, Sig=0.261) between two groups. Conclusion: The findings indicated that Bulimic women have low performance on some aspects of memory than the normal women.

Abstract:

Introduction: The effect of different facial emotions (i.e., happiness, sadness, fear and anger…) on face Recognition memory has been studied in different researches, but there is controversy in findings of these studies. Therefore, we conducted this study to evaluate the effect of facial emotions on face Recognition memory.Method: 45 normal adults (23 men) with normal memory aged between 18 and 35 years participated in this study. A computerized task using happy, neutral and sad faces was designed to evaluate the emotional face memory performance of participants. Data were extracted using the MATLAB (2015b) and then were imported to SPSS16.0. The repeated measure ANOVA was used to analyze the difference among the different facial emotions in terms of percentage of correct response, and correct/incorrect response times. Results: There was a significant difference among the three expressed facial emotions with a significant decrease in recalling happy faces compared to sad and neutral ones (P<0.05). No difference was found among the different emotions in terms of correct response time. Conclusion: It can be concluded that sad and neutral faces are recalled better than happy faces.

Abstract:

RECENTLY RECURRENT NEURAL NETWORKS (RNNS) HAVE SHOWN IMPRESSIVE PERFORMANCE IN SEQUENCE CLASSIFICATION TASKS. IN THIS PAPER WE APPLY LONG SHORT-TERM memory (LSTM) NETWORK ON PERSIAN PHONEME Recognition. FOR YEARS HIDDEN MARKOV MODEL (HMM) WAS THE DOMINANT TECHNIQUE IN SPEECH Recognition SYSTEM BUT AFTER INTRODUCING LSTM, RNNS OUTPERFORMED HHM-BASED METHODS. WE APPLY LSTM AND DEEP LSTM ON FARSDAT SPEECH DATABASE AND FIND THAT BOTH LSTM AND DEEP LSTM OUTPERFORMS HMM IN PERSIAN PHONEME Recognition. OUR EVALUATION SHOW THAT DEEP LSTM ACHIEVES 17.55% ERROR IN FARSDAT PHONEME Recognition ON TEST SET WHICH TO OUR KNOWLEDGE IS THE BEST RECORDED RESULT.
